“LA MISIÓN DE NUESTRA ORGANIZACIÓN ES BRINDAR EDUCACIÓN PREESCOLAR DE CALIDAD A LOS NIÑOS Y APOYO A SUS FAMILIAS”

Our Philosophy
At the Multi-Cultural Child Development Center, we believe every child is capable, curious, and learns best through play. Our play-based, program encourages exploration, creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.
We prioritize social-emotional development by helping children build confidence, empathy, resilience, and self-regulation through nurturing relationships and meaningful experiences.
We celebrate the diverse cultural, linguistic, and family backgrounds of every child.
Our inclusive program fosters a strong sense of identity while promoting respect, understanding, and appreciation for different stages of development and uniqueness, cultures and perspectives in every child.
We believe families are a child's first teachers and value strong partnerships with parents to support each child's growth and success. Together, we create a safe, welcoming community where every child can thrive.

Our Philosophy in accepting children with exceptional needs

In accordance with California Department of Education (CDE) guidelines, our program strives to maintain at least 5% of its enrollment for children with disabilities or exceptional needs.

As an inclusive, play-based, multicultural preschool, we are committed to welcoming children of all abilities in an environment that promotes empathy, kindness, respect, and appreciation for individual differences. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a rich, engaging, and nurturing environment alongside their peers.

We recognize that every child develops at their own unique pace. By creating inclusive classrooms, we foster meaningful relationships, encourage each child's strengths, and provide individualized support to help all children reach their full potential.

Our program welcomes children with disabilities or exceptional needs provided that we are able to safely meet each child's educational, developmental, and supervision needs within our licensed program. As a state-funded preschool, we maintain a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:8, allowing us to provide individualized attention while ensuring that every child is safe, supported, and appropriately supervised at all times. We collaborate closely with families, early intervention providers, school districts, and other specialists to determine the supports and accommodations needed for each child to participate successfully in our program.
